David Galluch, MD, FAAOS
Dr. David Galluch has been in practice since 2006. He specializes in general orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, particularly conditions of the knee, hip, and shoulder. Dr. Galluch graduated with a degree in psychology from Miami University and then pursued his medical degree at the Medical University of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio. He completed a sports medicine and arthroscopy fellowship at The Ohio State University and an orthopedic surgery residency at the Medical Education and Research Center of Michigan State University.
Dr. Galluch is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FAAOS) and maintains memberships in the Ohio State Medical Association and the Clark County Medical Society. Dr. Galluch has been published in Foot & Ankle International, the American Journal of Orthopaedics, and the journal Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research.
Residing in Springfield, Dr. Galluch currently serves as the team doctor for Shawnee High School and works closely with Cedarville University. Prior to becoming team doctor at Shawnee, he served in similar capacities at both Urbana University and Northwestern High School.
Dr. Galluch was awarded the 2016 Ohio Team Physician award by the Ohio Athletic Trainers' Association (OATA).
He and his wife Joy have four children, Megan, Mia, Ian, and Tyler. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, swimming, golf, snow skiing, racquetball, and running.
